Marvel Studios returns to the Multiversal adventures of What If? with Season 2 of the series with promises of the series expanding to bigger and crazier alternate “What If?” universes.
The first reactions for the new Season have started to come out and they’re extremely positive with critics praising its scale and animation. Special praise for the Die Hard-esque “Happy Hogan saves Christmas episode”, and the Noir tone of the “Nebula with the Nova Corps episode”. Many have also noted that the animation has improved alot over the previous season.

Overall the reactions are all very positive, with some of the same praise across the board. Everyone seems to have loved the holiday Die-hard inspired episode starring Happy Hogan on Avengers tower. There are vows of Big laughs, a Christmas feel, and and Big surprises. The other episode showcased was the “What If Nebula joined the Nova Corps?” episode which is being praised as a “dark thriller” and “detective noir” story.
